Hey folks!! Its me....Mr. Wiggles. Y'all know...from the blogs.....

Its been a long while since I posted. It has more to do with the fact that I have been lazy than the fact that I have been busy. Anyhoo, something interesting happened, interesting enough to snap me out of my lazy spell and post an entry. Last Saturday, my roomies Cuddy, Charles and Lux were lazing around as usual when something caught their interest and the three zipped to the door like bullets and barked so much, I thought they would bring the roof down. As I lazily gazed on, one of the humans in the house went to peer out the door. I think she was expecting a package from Amazon and thought the FedEx guy was at the front door. Well we did have a package but certainly not what she expected....it was a cute fellow canine!! Now I live with two humans and one of them is uber canine friendly. She let our little guest in and he promptly sniffed out the food and marked a couple of spots previously claimed by the boys of the house. After dinner the humans took him for a long walk to see if he would find his house but to no avail. The night was pretty noisy till one of the humans let him into her bedroom, and trust me I was beginning to think he was a little wolf from the way he was howling. The next day the humans took him to Banfield and lo and behold, he had a microchip. However, when called, the folks whose number was listed claimed that they had already given him to some stranger with no last name. Some humans can be soooo bad. Luckily Banfield offered to board him for a week and a campaign to find him a good home started. Not all dogs are lucky but our little Champ (thats his name apparently) became the talk of a small part of Facebook and a kind lady from Dallas fell in love with him and promised to give him a loving forever home. Another kind lady even agreed to ferry him from Houston to Dallas. Now Champ is with his new family which also consists of a pug and two chugs!! He was here for a short time but he was so sweet that he will remain in our hearts forever. I miss him and wish him a happy future.
I cannot end this post without acknowledging some wonderful angels I had the good fortune to come across. Thank you Caroline, Casey, Ruth and Sinthya. The awesome manner in which you coordinated and delivered my canine buddy Champ to his new mom Roxanne (you are an angel too!!) is simply astounding. I love you all.

Woofly,
