I have had the please of working with Moore Humane Society for 12 years and have seen many changes in the number of animals pass thru their agency on their way to adoption. They are a wonderful caring agency that is a No-Kill shelter. They advocate spay/neuter and release for wild cats to decrease the number of unwanted cats in the county. They have many programs to educate the public about caring for and training animals. They have been in existance for 45 years and were working toward building an animal center to house and adopt out dogs and cats to loving homes. This goal has been put on hold as the economy is taking its toll on them along with everyone else. Moore Humane Society is an agency dedicated to caring for and preparing for adoption, unwanted, neglected and abused animals to ensure that all animals have a chance for a good home. The strides this agency has made to reduce those numbers dramatically through the years has made a great difference in Moore county. Please help this agency to continue its good works and efforts to Save Moore Animals.
I am sorry to say that something is wrong, I have had several more people tell me that they keep getting kicked out, it will not accept their name, some tried over 3 times & have gotten very disgusted..so they are not going to try to vote...At this point I am too....
I thought I was doing a good thing trying to get some money for a very worthy cause, however, if people are unable to register, how can they vote?

I don't know why you are having problems registering. Could be the user name you are choosing is taken, or characters you need to copy are not correct. Please don't give up. We need your support!

Lately our site has been attacked by lot of spammers so we had to install a spam software and looks like some members are being rejected by this automated spam detection system which prevents known spammers from registering on our forums.This data comes from the stopforumspam.com spammer database. It looks for username, email address, IP address etc...there could be a possibility that users who are trying to register are using the same user name or email address that is in the spammer database and hence getting rejected. I am going to disable this automated spam detection until the voting system is over and monitor the users manually, so everybody gets a fair chance to vote.
I sincerely apologize to everyone who could not register for the inconvenience caused and urge to try to register again and vote.

It is not me, I have gotten complaints from at least 10 people, from different places, individual pple not businesses...some keep getting kicked out,,,some it refuses their name. They feel the questions are intrusive, & they are concerned about giving out that info. I can't blame them...
Some more pple unable to vote this morning...I just received this message..." I've gone through the registration page several times, since I won't allow FB apps, butit keeps giving me errors, so I am not able to vote. Sorry :-(

Moore County Humane Society is a no-kill, non-profit shelter. They provide an excellent service to the community not only by providing shelter to homeless dogs and cats, but also educating the public on care of animals and the need to spay/neuter pets.
